FAQ's
Were here to help! Below are some answers to common questions.
According to the National Microschooling Center (https://microschoolingcenter.org/), a microschool has anywhere from 5-150 students. The center completes an annual sector analysis which shares common trends, similarities and differences of this amazing movement. We are excited around the trends of self directed and experiential learning, and of course how students are all very well known in these small and intimate learning environments.
An "affiliate" microschool is a modern twist on the franchise model. We support you with the brand, business elements, MBS curriculum, community, and leadership development and you get to be your own founder and operator of a microschool. You are not an employee of our organization, but you do agree to certain commitments and we provide many of the benefits that keep people from opening or operating a successful microschool in the long term.
We believe that parents and community members are an integral part fo the microschool movement. It takes a village and parents, caregivers, grandparents, and many other family members should be involved in a young person's growth and development. Our program supports you in this journey too. Reach out and we can share more!
Unlike other affiliate programs who charge upwards of $20,000 to do a program like this, we offer it for FREE for the first year. We know that early founders don't necessarily have the funds at this early stage and our cost structure supports this. In in exchange for all of the benefits we offer, a percentage of your microschool's tuition goes to the network.
We are actively recruiting our founding cohort and will begin trainings at the end of 2024 in preparation for Fall 2025 launches for our new microschools all across the country!
