A Typical Day At Uhuru Pathways Learning Center
At our Albuquerque microschool, each student follows a self-paced, 9th-12th grade curriculum, blending academic subjects with our unique Mind, Body, Soul program. Students engage in about 5 hours of daily learning, supported by live, personalized coaching throughout the day. This holistic approach nurtures intellectual, emotional, and physical growth, helping students build essential life skills and thrive academically.

Her expertise spans program development, mentorship, and leadership across diverse settings—from community colleges to correctional facilities. As a passionate advocate for adult education, Dr. Yaz is committed to expanding opportunities for underserved populations through the creation of Uhuru Pathways Learning Center, an innovative adult micro high school in Albuquerque.
